The Crafty Teacher is an idea that sprung to life after working with K-2 students in schools for 6 years. After seeing first hand the need for engaging and hands-on activities that support syllabus outcomes, the desire to create resources became a passion of mine.

I hold qualifications in Visual Arts, Fashion Design, a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in English Literatures and History) and a Master of Teaching. Whilst studying, I worked as a tutor to students in High School and Primary School. I also worked part-time as classroom teacher at a Montessori school, where I was introduced to the notion of learning through play and hands-on resources. I have two children Angus (11 years) and Paige (15 years) who have shown me first hand at home that learning needs to be fun and engaging!! This has been a major influence along with teaching my own class and experiencing remote learning. I hope to share my passion through my available engaging products.

The Crafty Teacher centres around making life easier for travelling families, by offering engaging, reusable and hands-on learning packs. These can be used by teachers, parents and home school teachers to support learning. All products for retail have been carefully selected so they can be used anywhere! Encourage learning outside 🌱

Learning packs on offer include; high frequency words, numeracy, time and fine motor based activities and resources. These packs make learning fun and easy as they include all necessary resources and teaching tips to assist understanding whilst at home or if you're on the road travelling.

All resources are suitable for ages 4 - 10 years but not exclusive as we all learn at different stages! Every pack focuses on building basic skills without putting pressure on your child. I have also tried to include resources that support sensory play and build fine motor skills.

If you have any queries or suggestions, please don't hesitate to email or contact me on my socials and I will get back to you as soon as possible. The Crafty Teacher educational products are here to make life that little bit easier for you.
